Job Description:
Large Mutual Insurance Company looking for a Solutions Architect.
The Solutions Architect will develop and design technology solutions that support business functions, processes, and applications. Develop, evaluate and make recommendations for alternative IT solutions. Support the selection of methodologies, frameworks, tools, and components of total IT solutions and lead multifunctional teams in successful application of those methodologies and tools.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of work or an equivalent of education and work-related experience required.
Knowledge of Rational Software Architect or equivalent tool.
Knowledge of property and casualty insurance systems.
Understanding of technology solution alternatives and vendor strategies.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong knowledge of architecture methods (e.g., IAA, SOA) and solution standards.
Ability to lead/mentor less-experienced staff.
