Let your imagination soar and make a lasting impact as a Graphic Coordinator! Graphics Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate prepress activities and communication for the purpose of ensuring that all graphics are produced to customer specifications - Consult with manufacturing teams wide web flexographic print and converting facilities to understand tooling requirements and specifications for various projects - Communicate with outside marketing and creative teams to ensure that designs and files are set up to manufacturing specifications - Pre-flight supplied graphic files - Lead pre-production meetings to review projects with internal production teams, vendors, and/or customers - Create manufacturing specifications in database and manage digital assets on file server - Order materials from multiple prepress vendors, including proofs, printing plates, and/or sleeves - Manage the design approval process - Verify accuracy of all ordered prepress materials - Actively seek process improvements to reduce cost and increase speed-to-market - Set a good example through willingness to work with and instruct others while maintaining a positive, cooperative attitude focused on continuous improvement - Adhere to all company policies, safety rules, and BRCG Guidelines - All other duties as assigned Graphics Coordinator Requirements:
- Print/packaging production or graphics project management experience preferred - Experience in the flexographic printing industry preferred - Graphic design experience preferred - Adobe Creative Cloud Software preferred - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro - Work in both Mac and PC environments and learn company-specific systems, including but not limited to Filemaker, Macola and Wysis - Collaborative:
able to partner with members of all departments within the organization - Interpersonal skills:
able to develop strong working relationships with team members - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong, proactive analytical and problem-solving skills - Remain organized and detail-oriented while working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment - Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet both short- and long-term deadlines - Demonstrate a high level of integrity and honest behavior to earn trust with the various parties in the business relationship - Minimal travel required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
