10 an hour 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago Job Description Under the direction of the Vice President of Manufacturing, the Manufacturing Process Integration Specialist (MIP) will provide technical expertise for product engineering and new products.
Employees are expected to support Weinbrenner's core values through the completion of duties and responsibilities.
In this specific role, some expectations include:
Provide training to manufacturing staff and production operators, including but not limited to product requirements, product purpose, and assembly techniques.
Assist in developing and continuously improving training to include best practice procedures for all assembly processes.
Document and record technical details for production assembly and related processes to help maintain repeatability & ensure quality standards are met through delivery.
Responsible for providing operations with clear SOP and quality standards.
Support supervisor in the control of the WIP and control of raw material on the shop floor.
Follow TPM guidelines related to autonomous maintenance and documents in the SOP and work with the supervisors and operators in the implementation and compliance.
Participate in new product meetings, contribute & collaborate on technical requirements, tooling, machines, and requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure on-time introduction of new footwear and modifications to existing products that meet customer and company expectations.
Provide technical support on manufacturing requirements such as tooling, machines, manufacturing procedures, and materials.
Assist in sourcing 3rd party vendors for footwear manufacturing equipment and/or finished products or components that meet company standards and ensure compliance Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Associate degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and/or at least 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Shoe-making experience preferred.
Ability to proactively identify potential problems and work with others to develop solutions.
Demonstrated understanding of shoe construction, material properties, footwear terms, and processes.
Strong technical shoemaking skills, with a focus on detail and the demonstrated ability to deliver high caliber results.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to train others and clearly document technical processes in proper format.
LEAN manufacturing knowledge.
Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of QMS and Problem-Solving Methodology.
