Business Systems Analyst

Due to recent promotions and the growth of our IT department, Weinbrenner Shoe Company, the Manufacturer of Thorogood footwear is seeking a well-qualified, experienced Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team.
Employee's are expected to support Weinbrenner's core values through the completion of duties and responsibilities.
In this specific role, some expectations include:
Establishing and maintaining a liaison relationship between IT and assigned business areas.
Acting as the single point of contact, fostering a strong relationship and seeking opportunities for improvement and collaboration.
Engaging with business areas to understand their strategies and goals and align technology solutions accordingly.
Conducting thorough requirements analysis to gather and document business needs and user requirements.
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand processes and identify areas for improvement.
Developing requirement and functional specification documents for the development of business solutions.
Collaborating with IT functional and technical teams to define, test, and implement technology solutions.
Working closely with developers and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Assisting in the design of technical solutions that align with business functions and objectives.
Documenting current business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization.
Leading business process re-design efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Working closely with business stakeholders to drive process improvements and ensure successful adoption of new solutions.
Developing user test cases and validate test results to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Collaborating with testing teams to ensure appropriate integration and process components are tested.
Investigating and resolve issues, recommending solutions and improvements as needed.
Keeping business areas informed of problems, issues, and resolutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Managing business areas' expectations and provide regular updates on project status.
Effectively communicating technical and business concepts orally and in writing.
Qualified candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field, or equivalent work experience Proven experience as an IT Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
Strong understanding of business functions and processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in requirements analysis, functional specification development, and solution design.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
