Summary:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Preventive Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the preventive maintenance log, specifically completing data entry of tasks, dates, and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONCIBILITIES:
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating all necessary machine preventive maintenance requirements and requests Complete ordering requirements within the department following the company Purchasing Policy.
Assist with the creation of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) materials Complete required recordkeeping practices within the department Report problems or concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor Works with the IT Department and Supervisors to troubleshoot problems Maintains a clean and organized work area Preform other duties and assignments as directed QUALIFICATONS:
Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Proficient computer skills and knowledge especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Previous training and/or experience preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is generally performed in an office setting Occasional Travel to other plant locations Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines Monday - Friday Hours are to be determined in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear.
Occasional use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Occasional lifting and/or move up to 25 pounds.
